Around Iceland : Isafjordur, Blonduos, Akureyri and Myvatn

From Dynjandi we headed off to Isafjordur, it is a charmingly magical town, where we spent one full  day basically walking around and just enjoying sunny weather. I loved the houses in particular, some of them really old with nice doors (Im fixated on doors). We were looking for some advice in the lonely planet guide, whilst traveling. Although the issue was quite new, some information were definitely out-dated like the prices of campsites. They are much higher than those suggested by the guide. Therefore we were sometimes quite dissapointed, when for instance the price in the guide was 900 kronas per person, but at the campsite it turned out we had to pay 1200 or 1500. When I was in Morocco I met a journalist who told me that sometimes the guides are being updated by people, who are not even traveling to certain destination,  but making researches surfing in the internet instead. Anyway later on we went to Blondous, since our friend was working there for half a year and he got informed about the party going on with live music performed by Jonsi, double Eurovision participant, who represented Iceland this May in Baku. The party was called 16 plus, that is why there were many underage people. Jonsi is amayzing! Me and my Danish budy came up to him to take some pictures, and he welcomed us very warmly starting a short chat and asking us where were we from. We were behaving like groupies that night dancing in front of stage , passing some wine to Jonsi, who in general was drinking from people's botttles. I felt like a teenager once Jonsi grabbed my hand and held it for some time. When the show ended, he gave me a kiss on my forehead and told me it was a pleasure meeting me :). Unfortunately he is married , so no way I could win his heart. Ok Im just joking but its nice to feel like a youngster from time to time..Isnt it?:P Especially when you're 25 ;p. Our friend got so wasted we had to carry him to the tent and belive me he was like a dead body......It was a bit of a fun and a little of a drag to be honest having to look after someone stubborn. The next day, us hungover, we drove to Akureyri ,whereabout we caught up with our friend and she let us stay at her place. We took advantage of her hospitality and did the laundry. It was wonderful to take a rest from sleeping in a cold tent at a shity campsite. I liked Akureyri. Its of course still a tiny city. We went to the Christmas house, botanical garden and ate beer flavoured ice creams. They didnt contain alcohol just for the record but tasted exactly just as hop-plant. I'm at my friend's house right now, she is sleeping and I just decided to write sth, although I'm not very creative, neither I'm using sophisticated words, nor my gramma is impeccable. Forgive me please I vow to improve. Amen.   Its's 3 am in the morning by the way. When you are in Iceland, Myvatn region is a must! Its mini blue lagoon is fabulous much better than the famous one. The disadvantage is you cannot put mudmask on your face, on the other hand much cossier and less huddled by folks. We were hiking a lot what made us realise how weak and in bad shape we were. Shameeeee on us!!!!!!!! We managed eventually. I'd better go to sleep now..... TO BE CONTINUED!!:)
